Westport (14S), WA, US v1.0
Westport, as the name says, is a small city in the western part of Washington State and a popular tourism destination with many parks, aquarium not to mention the important marina with the seafood processing and cuisine. The area has been detailed to high level. All the shores in the area have been refined as the deltas nearby the airport. The marina has received extensive attention and all docks, ships, parkings and facilities have been meticulously detailed. Be careful the winds CREDITS Thanks to 614NLV for helping me with the custom models present in this package, I was happy to see a soccer field nearby the airport. CWOB – Brevoort Island v1.1
Brevoort Island Airstrip is located 121NM east of Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada. It is originally missing from MSFS. Located near a cliff the approach is certainly challenging. LICB Aeroporto di Comiso Pio La Torre v1.0
This is a first version that modifies the Comiso Pio La Torre Airport (LICB). The scenery presented many inaccuracies, the parking areas, the taxiways, the runway and more, which did not correspond to reality. In addition to the parking areas and the taxiways, I then modified the runway, the parking lots of the main Apron and that of SW. Night lighting effects and some objects have been added: VOR, windsock in the correct positions, blastfence, lightpole in the Apron. The airport buildings, for now, have not been modified, so I am working on them and I hope to do so soon. Advice, criticisms and any good quality photographic material of the airport buildings are welcome. Just my first try to create a livery. So I decided to create a livery for my own Airline “Joggel Fly” to make cool pictures for my Instagram-Account (that is linked on my profile-page). Since I am not experienced with 3D-Design, please don’t be to critical with my work. I would love to see you having fun using this livery and making great pictures. The Sunset Drive-In Theatre – Aurora, Mo. v1.0
A local landmark, the Sunset Drive-In Theatre located in Aurora, Mo. opened in 1951 and is still open to patrons. Just north of Jerry Sumners Sr. Aurora Municipal Airport (2H2), it can be seen when approaching runway 18. This is more of an experiment just to see what could be done using what’s provided in the sdk, houses just don’t cut it when it comes to DI screens. The screen is an oversized sign and the only one that really seemed usable though its not possible to really hide the frame. It’s lit at night so it can be seen anytime you fly. I went ahead and added some water texture to several nearby ponds that weren’t done in the sim and will probably add more to the DI and the area surrounding the airport. I hope you like it better than the houses, if I get some positive feedback I might do a series of them. At one time drive-ins were a common sight and sometimes used for visual referance. Cancun Airport, my first project. All i culd make during Chrismas weekend. And at least now we have all parking space available with no collision spawn. Little scenery update for Lynden Municipal, in Lynden WA. Just south of the Washington/Canadian border, this airfield it tucked in the middle of a small neighborhood, the residents of which have access from their private hangars straight to the airfield. Fun little place to practice touch-n-goes… just watch out for the power poles nearby.
