Red Hawk Casino Placerville, California v1.0.1
Replaced autogen building with Google’s more recent photogrammetry models, includes some of surrounding Shingle Springs area. Also added accurate night lighting to the front valet drive-thru and sides of main casino building. Tried blending some of the terrain into Highway 50 and the forest as best as I can, let me know any feedback on some extra adjustments and bugs. Note: Mesh is unoptimized and high quality so your frame rates may drop, though shouldn’t be much for being such a small area and less detailed (aside from the forest trees) than Thunder Valley. Red Hawk Casino is located 20 minutes east of Sacramento, CA in El Dorado County. It’s also an hour and a half away from South Lake Tahoe, which can serve as a midway stop for tourists heading into or coming out of the Sierra Nevadas. I am not promoting gambling or any irresponsible behaviors nor am I affiliated with Red Hawk Casino. This was made to help bring the area more to life especially for those living in Northern California who recognize the area in the Sierra Nevada Foothills east of the state’s capital. The Pontiac Silverdome (1975-2017) The year is 2015, the Silverdome’s roof collapsed two years ago, the inside lies in ruin, the practice shell has collapsed. You never know what you may import even if the map shows a empty lot. The Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, in the general vicinity of Detroit, was most famous for hosting Wrestlemania 3 where 93,173 watched Hulk Hogan body slam Andre the Giant on March 29, 1987. The Detroit Lions left The Silverdome after the 2001 season but the venue held on hosting various events until 2013 when the roof collapsed. In 2015 it was announced tha the stadium would be demolished in the Spring of 2016, after delays and an arson in the pressbox in June 2016 the stadium was condemed and cleared for demolition in 2017. The Silverdome’s demolition was set to commence on December 3, 2017 but due to a wiring issue 8 of the explosive charges failed to detonate, a second attempt was sucessful the next day, by March 2018 the last wall of the Silverdome had fallen. I love this capture showing the remains of the Silverdome, the seats are still there so I will guess it is between 2015 when a lot of google photogrammetry seems to have been taken and 2017 when the stadium was cleared for demo. Vilnius International Airport – work in progress v1.0 Alpha Features: – working ATC with TOWER and ATIS frequencies – taxiways and parking positions according to the latest AIP data – correct runway approach lights – working jetways – working fuel truck – custom night lighting (but the lanterns stand where they stand in real life) – as close as possible to realistic apron markings (according to google maps) – aerial from google maps (because the ground textures in the north of the airport were terrible) Cons – there are no taxiway signs and markings yet, I will add them later – ils/glideslope can be a little bit inaccurate if you find any bugs please let me know. I’ll try to improve the scenery till next weekend. Pre-release information Vilnius is one of my favorite airports. Due to the fact that the standard scenery in the game is simply terribly inaccurate, I decided to make a custom scenery with taxiways and parking positions according to the latest AIP data and with markings that can be seen on google maps, instead of randomly scattered lines in default scenery.Unfortunately, I’m not a 3D designer, so there will be the default (autogen) terminal building. However, I hope you enjoy this scenery. Ashgabat UTAA (Airport & Lights Enhancement) v1.1
I was annoyed by these dark default airports, so I’ve decided to digg into the scenery editor a bit and here you go – lights for the apron, buildings and car parks at Ashgabat UTAA. Not even close to real life, I’ve simply placed different mast types to have more fun with approaches at night. As default airport presents a very wrong terminal layout compared to the RL sat images, I’ve placed several buildings from the Japan update to get some kind of usable airport. Flattened the runways, added car parks in front of the airport (a bit according to sat images). Should be very FPS-friendly. I’ve tried not to occupy any ramp positions, but the yellow centerlines and markings for these ramp positions can be quite confusing on the default airports. If you find any errors, let me know and send a screenshot. Otherwise – take it as it is, hope it works for you too, have fun! Unpack the zip archive to the folder Ashgabat UTAA, then drag this folder to your community folder.
