To avoid any misunderstandings:This is not a real life remake of the airport, it’s just an improvement of sad, deserted and dark AI airports. Per default I’m flattening the runway where the mesh is doing crazy things, typically I’m adding lights, missing hangars and a tower similar to the real buildings and locations, maybe car parks if these can be identified in sat images. The intention is to provide a flyable & fps friendly airport for people with lower hardware spec, to give them some immersion. So please don’t complain, that it’s not the real thing. Swabian Castles v2.0
This package includes three castles at the foot of the Swabian Alb. The pack includes photogrammetry models of Teck Castle, Hohenneuffen Castle and the stunning Hohenzollern Castle. Teck Castle is located in the Esslingen district at 773m near the towns of Owen and Bissingen unter Teck. The castle also gives its name to the nearby large district town of Kirchheim unter Teck. The core of the castle was built around 1100 and is a popular hiking destination in the region. Nearby airfields are the Hahnweide (EDST) and the glider airfield Teck Hohenneuffen Castle is a ruined castle and is also located in the Esslingen district at around 745m. The castle was built in the years 1100 to 1120 and is used today as an event location in addition to its popularity as an excursion destination. Nearby villages are Neuffen, Beuren and Erkenbrechtsweiler. The nearest airfield from which you can take off is Grabenstetten (EDSG). Tihange Nuclear Power Plant v1.0b
Built on the banks of the Meuse, the Tihange nuclear power plant has stood out in the landscape since 1970. It employs around 1130 workers and produces closes to 3000MWe. The plant is operated by Electrabel, a subsidiary of the French group Engie. Not far from there, the Coo-Trois-Ponts power station makes it possible to adapt to the variation in electricity production from Tihange. Use of the site is expected to cease by 2025. Scenery content : – 3D handcrafted models with photorealistic textures All 3D models are made by myself EXCEPT THE CRANE. I spent hours creating those 3D models, please DO NOT reupload them somewhere else, thank you ! Author comment : Some buildings may not match with the real one, it’s because there are not a lot of pictures of the power plant available on internet, so I had to imagine them sometimes. If you want a lower resolution scenery of the power plant (because you have an fps drop when approaching the site for ex.) do not hesitate to dm me and I’ll upload a “low res” version. Installation : 1. Delete the old version of the plant in the “Community” folder 2. Unzip 3. Paste the content in the “Community” folder 4. Enjoy !
