JAGTECH PERFORMANCE UPGRADES V1.0.0.21

Real Engine and Transmission Upgrades for Farming Simulator 25
Transform compatible Farming Simulator 25 vehicles with selectable engine and transmission upgrades that provide real performance improvements—not merely cosmetic configuration names.
JAGTECH Performance Upgrades adds two separate shop categories, allowing you to build each vehicle around the work it needs to perform. Increase engine power, improve transmission cooling and experience realistic consequences when a vehicle is overloaded, operated with insufficient horsepower or left spinning its wheels under load.
Engine Performance Upgrades
Choose from seven engine configurations directly in the vehicle shop:
Standard: Factory engine power Intercooler: +10% power Valve Train: +15% power Displacement: +20% power Crank & Pistons: +40% power ECU: +50% power Turbo: +100% power
Every upgrade modifies the vehicle’s actual runtime torque curve and peak engine output. The upgraded power is used by vehicle physics, implements, power-consumer calculations and compatible gameplay systems.
The normal FS25 shop specification updates automatically to display the correct upgraded HP and kW for the selected engine and vehicle configuration.
Upgrade prices scale according to the vehicle’s original purchase price, while minimum prices prevent powerful upgrades from becoming unrealistically cheap on inexpensive vehicles.
Progressive Engine Sound
The vehicle’s existing engine sound becomes progressively louder and more aggressive with every upgrade stage.
The final Turbo upgrade adds a dedicated turbo engine layer, giving fully upgraded vehicles a much stronger high-performance sound without replacing the vehicle’s original sound character.
Separate Transmission Upgrades
Engine and transmission upgrades are selected independently. This allows you to increase engine power while choosing the transmission components needed to manage the additional workload and heat.
Available transmission stages include:
Standard Finned Transmission Cover Clutch Upgrade for manual transmissions Torque Converter Upgrade for automatic, CVT, IVT and hydrostatic transmissions Oil Cooler Oil Flow Upgrade Bearing Upgrade Gears Upgrade
The mod automatically chooses between the Clutch Upgrade and Torque Converter Upgrade according to the vehicle’s transmission type.
Each stage progressively reduces positive transmission heat buildup when used with Advanced Damage System:
Finned Transmission Cover: 10% reduction Clutch or Torque Converter Upgrade: 18% reduction Oil Cooler: 30% reduction Oil Flow Upgrade: 40% reduction Bearing Upgrade: 50% reduction Gears Upgrade: 60% reduction
Transmission upgrades improve heat management without making the transmission immune to damage. Severe overload, insufficient power or sustained wheel spin can still cause overheating.
Advanced Damage System Integration
Performance Upgrades is designed to work with the complete live drivetrain state provided by FS25_AdvancedDamageSystem.
The compatibility system considers:
Actual upgraded engine horsepower Live engine torque and motor load ADS engine-condition torque losses Implement required-power ratings Active PTO demand PTO clutch-slip losses Draft resistance Heavy trailers Native overload and drivetrain stress Driven-wheel slip Ground contact Engine and transmission temperature Cooling-system faults and radiator dirt Ambient temperature and speed-based cooling
Correctly powered equipment will not receive false overload heat simply because the vehicle originally had less power.
For example, if an upgraded vehicle produces 650 HP and the active implement requires 450 HP, the equipment is considered correctly matched. However, if the vehicle produces only 603 HP and the implement requires 640 HP, the confirmed horsepower deficit can increase engine and transmission temperature, wear, stress and breakdown risk.
A genuine overload can push the engine and an ADS-simulated CVT or hydrostatic transmission beyond 90°C.
Engine upgrades also increase ADS service wear and engine-condition wear, representing the additional stress created by tuned components. Transmission upgrades do not add artificial baseline wear.
ADS cooling faults, thermostat control, overheat protection, AI control, multiplayer synchronization and CVT Addon ownership remain intact.
Mud System Physics Integration
Performance Upgrades is 100% compatible with FS25_MudSystemPhysics.
Mud System Physics changes traction, soil resistance, wheel sinking and engine demand through FS25’s live physics system. Performance Upgrades and Advanced Damage System read the resulting grounded driven-wheel slip and motor load.
This means that even when the tractor has enough horsepower for the attached equipment, sitting in mud and spinning its driven wheels under load can still generate realistic engine and transmission heat.
Airborne wheels are not treated as a grounded overload event. The system uses live ground contact and driven-wheel slip, helping prevent false overheating while still detecting real wheel spin in mud or difficult terrain.
Recommended Full Experience
For the complete realistic experience, install and activate:
FS25_AdvancedDamageSystem FS25_MudSystemPhysics
Both mods are optional, and Performance Upgrades can operate without them. The shop configurations, upgraded engine output, torque changes, sounds and normal vehicle performance will still work.
Advanced Damage System is required for the complete temperature, wear, stress, service and breakdown simulation. Mud System Physics adds realistic terrain resistance, sinking, traction loss and mud-related wheel spin.
Performance Upgrades supports multiplayer.
For the best results, the server and every joining player should use the same versions of Performance Upgrades and its recommended companion mods.
Installation Download FS25_PerformanceUpgrades.zip. Do not extract the ZIP. Place it inside your Farming Simulator 25 mods folder. Activate the mod when loading or creating your savegame. Purchase or reconfigure a compatible motorised vehicle in the shop. Select your preferred engine and transmission upgrades. Current Version
