“Improved Canola Plants” is a mod for Farming Simulator 25 that visually enhances the appearance of canola, also referred to as rapeseed. When activated, it installs a custom texture set and replaces the visual representation of rapeseed vegetation with updated plant textures, growth stages, distant vegetation views, XML data, model data, and shapes. Features Replaces the visual appearance of rapeseed with improved textures, models, XML data, and shapes. Installs a revised rapeseed texture set when activated. Updates the plant textures for the growth stages. Updates the model data and shapes. Improves the distant views of the vegetation. Creates backups of the original crop files before applying the included rapeseed files. Restores the game’s default rapeseed appearance after exiting the game. Changes only the appearance of the crop and does not affect yield, growth rate, prices, orders, production, or crop balance. Provides a more realistic depiction of crops and fields during normal fieldwork. Rapeseed fields can be evaluated from a distance across large areas on many maps in Farming Simulator 25. The mod can be tested in an active save game by comparing the behavior of fields before and after installation. Testing can include sowing, spraying, harvesting, and headland work. The four screenshots show “Improved Canola Plants” in-game. Visual progression of growth phases is included. The same task can be performed once without and once with the mod activated to compare the results under normal operating conditions.
