Birkental features 28 fields and 14 forest areas ready for logging. Many of the fields can be expanded or merged by clearing forests and boundary trees. You can also create additional animal enclosures or pastures this way. Simply grab your chainsaw and make room for your own ideas!
🌾 Multi-crop Numerous additional crops are available on Birkental: Alfalfa Buckwheat Clover Edamame Field grass Hemp Lavender Flaxseed Mustard Okra Peanuts Poppy Rye Spelt Triticale Taro Tobacco Spring wheat Winter wheat Winter barley
🚜 Specialized harvesting equipment Harvesters for the special crops—taro, peanuts, and lavender—have been integrated directly into the map. You do not need to download any additional harvester mods; the machinery required to harvest these three crops is already included with Birkental.
🌱 Special feature: Taro On Birkental, the taro plant requires a specific cultivation method and can only be grown in rice paddies.
Important cultivation details: The rice paddy must not be flooded at the time of sowing. After sowing, you must wait until the first plants become visible. This happens approximately one day after sowing. Only then should the field be flooded or watered. From that point on, the taro requires daily watering until it is ready for harvest.
Plan your taro cultivation accordingly and keep a close eye on the water supply. 🏭 Production & Processing
Numerous production facilities are available for processing your goods: Bakery Carpentry workshop Sawmill Paper mill Delicatessen factory Large mill Thermal power plant (for electricity generation) Jam factory Juice factory Biogas plant (for electricity generation) Tobacco factory Butcher
Production chains on Birkental are structured somewhat more extensively. The factories require electricity to operate, making power generation a key component of your economic cycle. Factories cannot function without an adequate power supply, so be sure to secure a reliable source of energy early on. Packaging materials are also required for various production chains; these include items such as paper and cardboard, which must be produced and supplied accordingly. Plan your production chains carefully and ensure that the necessary raw materials and packaging materials are available on time.
🌻 Garden & Vegetables An open garden area is available for cultivating garden crops and vegetables.
In addition to standard varieties, you can also grow: Bell peppers Pumpkins Watermelons Cucumbers
Several greenhouses are also available for purchase in Birkenbach, giving you the opportunity to further expand your vegetable and plant cultivation according to your own preferences.
🍎 Orchards Fruit cultivation is also catered for. On Birkental, you can establish your own orchards featuring the following fruit varieties: Apples Plums Apricots Cherries Peaches
Wooden baskets are required to operate the orchards; these can be manufactured from wood at the carpentry workshop. This creates a small production chain for fruit growing as well: Wood → Carpenter → Wooden crates → Orchard → Fruit
🛒 Sales points Various sales points are available for selling your goods: EDEKA Farmers’ market Grain sales Bale sales at the livestock trader
A train is also available as another option. You can load and sell your goods using the train.
This gives you various ways to profitably market your agricultural produce and products.
⚡ Electricity generation Electricity supply plays a central role in Birkental. Since factories require electricity to operate, an adequate energy supply is essential. Without electricity, production chains come to a standstill.
Several options are available for generating electricity: Biogas plant (BGA) Thermal power plant Individual placeable solar panel Solar field
The solar installations intentionally generate less electricity than the biogas and thermal power plants, representing an additional—albeit smaller—option for energy generation. Plan your energy supply carefully and ensure that your production facilities are always supplied with sufficient electricity.
🎢 Roller coaster A roller coaster is available as a special buildable object in Birkental. Build it wherever you like and turn your farm or surroundings into a truly special place. 🚜 Your farm – you
