Designed by International Harvester, the 1490 and 1590 mower conditioners offer cutting-edge versatility to help you maximize efficiency. Engineered with a three-point lift system, these machines allow for lateral and vertical floating, ensuring that the header captures every last bit of stem from the root. Once cut, the stem is gently transported through the system. The reel pushes the outboard hay towards the center, where it is processed by reinforced rubber rolls machined to precise tolerances, ensuring that every stem is crimped and crushed for quicker drying while preserving the leaves. You can easily adjust your swath with the conveniently located handle at the rear. Unlike the 1190, these haybines feature a hydroswing, making turns easier and faster, so you don't lose time while cutting. The hydroswing is complemented by a high-capacity PTO pump that provides power to the haybine while remaining easy to handle. Maintenance is straightforward, thanks to simple hinged side shields that lift out of the way for easy access to vital parts. The 1490 has a width of 12' 3" (3.7m) and the 1590 measures 14' 3". Both models come with hitch extensions for sharper turns, can operate at speeds up to 7 mph, and are rated for tractors with 60hp.
