1970 Chevrolet K20 4×4 (Short Wheel Base) v1.0
1970 Chevrolet K20 4×4 (Short Wheel Base) v1.0 A deeply personal tribute project turned full-featured mod. This truck isn’t just a mod—it’s a memory. Built from the ground up as a tribute to a custom truck my dad and I built when I was a kid. This truck is modeled after the exact Frankenstein rig we pieced together from a 1969 C60 tow truck and various parts from 79-82 K20 trucks around our place. We never quite got to finish it the way we wanted—especially the drivetrain and wheels—but with this mod, I feel like I finally got to do right by that dream. I know the ol’ man would’ve been proud of what came out of it. Features – 1969–72 Chevrolet K20 4×4 SWB – 5.9 Cummins engine & sound – Fully dynamic suspension, front and rear – Animated hood and doors (mouse control) – Fully detailed, color-selectable interior – 60 wheels to choose from – 6 wheel offset sizes – 5 suspension lift sizes – 6 bed styles – 3 exhaust configurations – 6 body configuration accessories (bed-dependent) – 3 front bumper options(with or without skid steer plow mount) – Functioning front winch – Selectable cab lights – 5 animated dynamic antenna setups (WIPS) – Movable Go Light (mouse control) – 19 bed item add-ons – 9 front vanity tag options – 5 rear window sticker selections – 5 optional interior items – 11 attacher configurations – 9 color-selectable paint options – A Quick Note From Me This mod has been in the works for a long time—and while I’ve pushed to make it as polished as possible, there are a few things still being worked on (and I know y’all will probably catch a few more I missed). I want to get this first version out so people can enjoy it, and I’ll be patching things up soon. Known Issues / WIP Notes The whole factory bed wasn’t really part of my original vision, and it definitely needs some rework. I’ll get it sorted in a future update. The cake feeder is currently just a visual prop. Interior dash/interior lights and gauges are not yet functional or animated (except the steering wheel). Some suspension parts might not align 100% depending on the lift kit used.
