Its introduction helped pull International Harvester out of a difficult period and solidified its reputation for powerful, innovative farm equipment. The 1206 was also available in International Standard and Wheatland models. History and significance: First turbocharged Farmall: The IH 1206 Farmall was equipped with a factory-installed turbocharger, a significant engineering advancement for its time that boosted its power output.
