CLAAS Xerion 2500/3000 (1997/1999)The CLAAS Xerion 2500 was introduced in 1997 as a new concept — a tractor designed as a system vehicle. It features the ability to position the cabin in three different locations: central, rear, and rear-right. The Xerion is powered by a 6-cylinder turbocharged, liquid-cooled diesel engine with a capacity of 8.7 liters, and it uses a stepless hydromechanical gearbox developed by CLAAS engineers — the HM8. In 1999, the tractor received a facelift. Besides visual updates, engine power was increased by 15 HP. The series was produced until 2004.
