The Fendt Favorit 615 LSA was produced from 1983 to 1993. Like all Fendt tractors, it focused heavily on advancing functional technology. This included the Turbomatik-E and the 'Duospeed' continuously variable transmission introduced in 1987. The engine technology was also upgraded, boosting power by 10 hp to 180 hp. In 1987, turbocharging of the exhaust turbochargers was added for the constant power engines, providing an additional 5 hp.
