The improved weight distribution between the axles, the relief of the rear axle and a fundamental reduction of the overall weight enable more payload for more fire-fighting equipment. In addition, the Magirus M32L-AS has more outreach by reducing the weight at the top of the ladder at 32 m operating height and 4.7 m articulated arm without telescope in the articulated arm. Other special features are the increased water capacity of up to 2,500 l thanks to the new water feed-through and faster set-up times.
