Welcome to your own sandbox, Close to Home, a map based on a real place, found in multiple locations throughout the world. The map was originally started as a sandbox for the development of my own map creation tools and ideas, a safe place to make a mess. Eventually, the idea of making it an actual sandbox sprung to life. It brings a different point of view to the Farming Simulator, and for me, it breathes life into the imaginative worlds of farming and construction I too as a kid used to role-play in my own sandbox at home. For PC players, I highly encourage the use of a depth-of-field shader to enhance the miniature feeling. The map contains: – 19 Fields – 26 Farmlands – Forests Two starter farms: – Cow farm – Sheep farm – BGA – Dairy – Farmers Market (will buy all sorts of products!) – Grain mill – Grain silo – Paper mill* – Sawmill – Spinnery – Train system * Requires Platinum DLC Any other production and factory can be built anywhere you like.
