Weight distribution With the SISU Polar Carrier, there will be no problem with the rear end of the car in terms of weight, as the technically maximum permissible undercarriage weight is 33.5 tons. The center of gravity has been moved considerably forward by shortening the front wheelbase by 50 mm, and thus the axle weights remain within the permitted limits. Frame structure and grille Carrier’s full-length double frame enables a structure without an auxiliary frame between the 2nd and 3rd axles, thanks to which the lower level of the grate and the center of gravity of the load are as low as possible. The distance between the 4th and 5th axles has also been shortened by 90 mm to achieve a gentler loading angle. A hole blade with a floating function is attached to the rear ramp of the grate. Axis functions The familiar 2nd axis printing and 5th axis pressure halving from the 5-axis SISU Polar Rock is now also available for Carrier. Remote control The work lights and the hydraulic rear ramp of the machine transport grid can now also be remote controlled. PA tank The Carrier is equipped with an E-type approved aluminum fuel and AdBlue combination tank.
