Translation Fix 1.4 Mod
As a lot of people, I just got SnowRunner and I’m having a very great time with it but I can’t but see the little translation errors here and there and feel the need to fix them. (and yes, “Metal Planks” really hurt me).
So here is a first mod, more like a proof of concept, changing a few translations in game both for english and french languages.
English changes : – Changed “Fuel” by “Barrels” for generic barrels – Changed “Metal Planks” by “Steel Beams” – Changed “Consumables” by “Food Crates” for farm products + according description changes – Fixed Khan 39 rear bumper from “Hunte” to “Hunter” – New lines from 1.2 game update
– Replacement of “Fuel” by “Barrels” for generic barrels – Replacement of “Concrete blocks” by “Concrete blocks” – Replacement of “Consumables” by “Crates of food” + modification of the description – Replacement of “Metal planks” with “Metal beams” – Replacement of “Oversized Cargo” by “Exceptional Transport” – Replacement of “Obstacle Rock” by “Blocking Rock” * new in 1.4 * – Translation of “TANK” into “RESERVOIR” on the damage display * new in 1.4 * – Correction of the names of the chassis modules – Replacement of “Garage entrance” with “Garage” – Correction of garage menus * new in 1.4 * – Correction of the reversed categories “LOURD” and “SUPER LOURD” * new in 1.4 * – Correction of the vehicle options menu * new in 1.4 * – Correction of the old menu allowing to create and test new vehicles * new in 1.4 * – Replacement of all the words “Usines à bois” by “Scierie” – Replacement of all the words “Trucking” by “Road transport” – Added lines of game update 1.2 – Minor correction of information on loading pages – Correction of parameters referring to “wheels” instead of “steering wheel” in the STEERING menu
Installation notes are provided inside the .zip file. Nothing complex, only a few steps. Note that WinRar is required.
Compatibility : – This mod changes the initial.cache_block inside initial.pak file. Any mod modifying this whole .pak or just this individual sub file could conflict with this mod.
