It is the smaller of two airports operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority that serve the National Capital Region (NCR) around Washington (the larger airport being Washington Dulles International Airport about 25 miles (40 km) to the west in Virginia’s Fairfax and Loudoun counties).The airport is 5 miles (8.0 km) from downtown Washington D.C. and the border is visible from the airport. Move the srinivasman-kdca file into your Flight Simulator ‘Community’ File and the starred KDCA airport should show up on the world map DISCLAIMER: No gates/taxiways were edited. Only custom buildings added. Some of the gates do not work, but I did not touch them. Go fight Microsobo. Also at least 15 gates do work so just use one of those. Half Moon Bay Airport covers 325 acres (132 ha) at an elevation of 66 feet (20 m). Its asphalt/concrete runway, 12/30, is 5,000 by 150 feet (1,524 x 46 m). Half Moon Bay Airport is home to about 80 aircraft and several related businesses. This is my first scenery on the sim. I put about 10 hours into learning everything and applying it to this lovely airport. No custom models yet (coming to my next airport). I add an extra static aircraft. Improved multiple hangars and completely rebuilt the cafe (includes picnic tables). Expect more to come with new versions. This is an exclusive scenery. EGLM White Waltham Airfield v1.1
This is my first attempt to modify an scenery, and probably it will show. I use EGLM as my base so I decided that it doesn’t look too good and parking slots where not representative of the real use of the airfield. Starting adding the visitor’s parking slots but got carried away and changed the hangars, building, added fuel point and then changed some of the sorrounding buildings as they were way to high compared with the real ones.
