40 km north of Whistler, the small town of Pemberton offers a very dramatic landscape with the backdrop of high mountains that surrounds it. If flying is your passion and the weather allows it, then take that plane out of the hangar in CYPK, enjoy a nice flight over the Howe Sound fyord, overfly Squamish and Whistler and be prepared for a spectacular landing in Pemberton. This scenery replaces the default buildings and adds fence, static planes and other static elements. There are no custom buildings in this scenery, it only uses buildings currently available in the SDK. This bridge sits astride the northern end of the Mactan Channel, which is a gateway to the Cebu International Port which is managed by the Cebu Port Authority, where about 80% of domestic and international shipping operators and shipbuilders in the Philippines are located. The Marcelo Fernan Bridge is located about 1.6 kilometers (0.99 mi) north of the bridge. The bridge has only one pedestrian walkway, on the south side of the bridge. From Mandaue on Cebu Island, the bridge is accessed via A. C. Cortes Avenue. Lapu-Lapu on Mactan Island is accessed via the Basak–Marigondon Road, which intersects with the Manuel L. Considered to be the outdoors capital of Canada, the pitoresque city of Squamish is located approx 100 km from Vancouver on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, about half way to Whistler. If MSFS is what it claims to be, then trying to land on this airport should give you a run for your money, because those mountains might look pretty but the turbulence and the downdrafts caused by them surely pose a challenge in real life. Memorial Stadium (Clemson) The Memorial Stadium popularly known as “Death Valley” (English: “Death Valley”) is an American football stadium with capacity for more than 81,000 spectators, located on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. The stadium was built during the 40s and remodeled on various occasions, it is currently considered one of the ten largest stadiums located within a campus in the United States. The stadium is home to the NCAA Division I American football team Clemson Tigers, with an attendance record of 86,092 spectators beaten in 1999. Among the most notable features of the stadium are the grassy hill located on the East part, which serves as a popular seating area for university students and where the famed “Howard’s Rock” sits at its top. It was built in 1942 against the wishes of then-Tigers coach Jess Neely, who wanted a small stadium with just 10,000 spectators. Originally, it had capacity for 20,000 people, being remodeled in 1958 adding 18,000 seats in a side grandstand, and another 5,658 in the back in 1960. Between 1980 and 1983, two amphitheaters were added in both side stands, expanding the capacity to the present , with more than 80,000 spectators. Littlejohn Coliseum The Littlejohn Coliseum, is a 9,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Clemson, South Carolina, United States. It is home to the Clemson University Tigers men’s and women’s basketball teams. It is also the site of Clemson graduations and the Clemson Career Fair. It is owned and operated by Clemson University and hosts more than 150 events per year including concerts, trade shows, galas, and sporting events. Disclaimer: I am totally aware, that I still have a lot to learn. My Blender skills are definitely not up to par with some of the guys on this site. This is especially true when it comes to texturework. For this reason, I have included a version of the airport that does not have custom buildings, just the autogen ones. Update 1.0.1: Just a technical update, I have renamed the ‘modellib’ folder to not cause any issues. Welcome To Mountain Air! Mountain Air is a gated community in North Carolina. Homeowners and Members of Mountain Air Country Club can enjoy its many amenities all year round. Mountain Air is easily accessible with a car, however, it also has its own private airstrip. The airstrip is located atop a mountain, which makes landing a little bit more challenging than your usual rodeo. If it is your first time at Mountain Air, it is recommended to do a pass over the strip and get a feel for the surrounding area before attempting to land. If in doubt, you can always check the Pilot’s Manual, published by non-other then the Mountain Air Pilot’s Association. Happy flying, happy golfing, and remember, always touch down before the 2000ft mark! Features: – Complete terraforming of the area. In the original version, 2NC0 is a flat airport atop the mountain. I made the required modifications to feel much closer to the real-life counterpart. Unfortunately, the SDK still has some limitations regarding terraforming, but I am pretty happy with the end result. – 2 custom models for the main buildings. If you wish to use the airport without them please use the file from ‘NOCUSTOMBUILDINGS.ZIP’. – VASI light added to the end of Runway 34. It has a 3.5 degree glideslope. Works the following way: Blinking white means above glideslope, steady white indicates glideslope, steady red indicates slightly under glideslope, blinking red indicates under glideslope. – Many ‘default’ Asobo assets also added to the scene to give it more life – 5 parking available, no FUEL. Installion: Normal version: Unzip the two files, and use ‘matemate-airport-2nc0-mountainair’ folder to copy into your community folder. You can discard the ‘NOCUSTOMBUILDINGS.ZIP’ if you want. Autogen Buildings Version: Unzip the two files, then unzip ‘NOCUSTOMBUILDINGS.ZIP’, and use the folder inside to drop into your community folder. You can discard ‘matemate-airport-2nc0-mountainair’ folder if you want. Future Plans: This is release 1.0. For me this airport is a long term project. I continuously learn and improve on the way, in the long term, I would like to remake the two main buildings for higher quality, and add more local houses. For now, however, it’s quickfixes. Please if you find an issue or inaccuracy, let me know in the comments or direct message and I will try to fix it. Hope you will all enjoy flying at Mountain Air! This airport was created based on user request. I did quite grow to like it though, this is why I want to keep on developing it.
