Story… I fly with the NZA Simulations ‘OnAir Company’ VA, Highland Air Express in PNG.The boss KiwiDave has a keen eye for a bargin when purchasing aircraft, engine will be pretty sound, airframe and appearance not so important.So, my immersion imagination required a well used and dirty repaint of the C208 I was off to collect as my first personal VA plane. She’s been in the tropical sun for years, hangered under a tree. She won’t get repainted into the official Highland Air VA livery until the next major overhaul, so I might be flying it for a while. Blue Grass Airport is a public, regional airport in Lexington, KY. In addition to the four major airlines that fly into and out of Lexington, hundreds of general aviation flights operate daily out of KLEX, including flight training, seaplane training, equine cargo, business aviation, and more. This update of KLEX includes several hand-crafted buildings and an updated taxiway layout and markings current as of summer 2020. Almost the entire terminal interior has been modeled as well. Hand-crafted buildings with full PBR include: Entire lobby and passenger terminal Detailed interior of concourses A and B Main parking garage and rental car garage Control tower WestLex general aviation FBO WestLex T-Hangars Aviation Museum of Kentucky Tac-Air Corporate FBO Thoroughbred Aviation maintenance hangar Iconic “bridge” mural on the threshold of Runway 22 Lexington Financial Center and Central Bank (downtown landmarks) It’s still a work in progress, and it’s definitely not perfect — but I wanted to release what I had so hopefully everyone can enjoy it! About the Airline Saudia, formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, is the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah. The airline is the third largest in the Middle East in terms of revenue, behind Emirates and Qatar Airways. Do you already master landing at Lukla blindfolded ? Are you tired of getting too much yolo traffic around Courchevel ? Then Sarantapicho airport is the new challenge made for you. Historical information: Back in the day, there used to be an airport near Sarantapicho village in Peloponisos, Greece. There was a premium hotel in the village for VIPs. Unfortunately, it closed down in 1941 and remains a forest until today. Airport information: Altitude – 4300 ft / 1300 m Runway – 14/32 – 941 x 25 meters Tower – 118.65 Parking – 4 small GA + 1 medium GA Announcement: This is a purely fictive airport based on a closed / no longer existing one. Started from basic information (location and old pictures), I tried to imagine what it could look like today if it never closed. This is purely for fun and challenge of landing in a Greek Courchevel type of airport. Simply drag & drop it in the Community folder.
