Welcome to Dawson City Yukon CYDA This airport is rather unique in that it sits in a narrow valley surrounded by high terrain. It has no runway lighting or approach lighting other than PAPI’s and as such, it is restricted to daytime use only with the exception of medivac/emergency flights. The runway is 5000 feet long and paved, with published RNAV approaches. NOTAM: right hand circuits runway 21. Taxiway Bravo and Charlie are restricted to aircraft weights of 12500 pounds or less. I needed a good real-world livery for this jet to fly around Europe and decided EasyJet would make a good choice. The fact that the tail and winglet logos are mirrored incorrectly isn’t my fault. It looks like the livery doesn’t allow for separate images for that and just mirrors it, which doesn’t work well with the text logo. Still looks good from the left side. Fix for annoying building on the DC mall v1.0
This is a fix for the random building right in the middle of the National Mall in Washington, DC in the new USA scenery pack. There is no ground marking in the satellite imagery that would make the ai scenery autogen pop a big building there. It’s only grass underneath like the real thing, so I assume MS set that building there to keep people from using the National Mall as a grass strip…which I wanted to do. So, this scenery file only eliminates that building. To be clear, it adds nothing, just deletes that builing so the National Mall looks right. As usual, put the directory in this file into your community directory, and poof..it’s gone. Use caution, there’s a tall white runway obstruction on the west end. Elevation Fixes for Omaha, Nebraska Area (KOMA) v0.2
Elevation fixes and updates around the Missouri River for the Omaha, Nebraska area. This update fixes the elevation issues and giant spires near Eppley Airfield (KOMA). The fix is not perfect, but it should make the area very flyable again.
