20KT Brushy Fork Field v1.0
This is 20KT, Brushy Fork Field, near Hardinsburg, KY. It is a private field, shown on Sectional charts and recorded in FAA data as an airfield. A funny coincidence, I actually discovered this field because I saw another user in MSFS multiplayer and decided to go fly along with them and they led me here, intentional or not I’m not sure but I enjoyed the surprise. It was not on the sim map and once I saw it and landed there, I knew with a few minor touch ups it would be easy enough to add. Actually I’d like to find that player so they can use this, if you find this, please leave a comment. I’m mostly adding these small airports so locals can enjoy the sim more with places they might actually fly, if for training, familiarity, or fun. The Bing map data in MSFS represents it quite well, I merely added the airport and runway info, made the 2 ponds adjacent to the runway into water, put in the windsock, and removed some trees the AI was a bit overzealous with. I attempted to make the nearby residence a bit more realistic by adding a hangar. If you own or use this field and by chance stumble upon this page, please let me know! Oak Brook – Oakbrook Terrace – Chicago Suburbs v1.0.1
This is the first in a series of Chicago Suburban Mods. Much of the imagery and building models anywhere West of I-294 use the “generic” MS polygons and building models, and my intent is to bring improved mods to some of these select areas. This mod includes portions of Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace in the West Suburbs in much better and more accurate detail. Detailed Features in this mod include: – Oakbrook Terrace Tower – at 430 feet, is the tallest building in Illinois outside of the Chicago city limits (this was my primary reason for creating this mod to improve this building from the generic mod) – Oak Brook Mall – Largest outdoor shopping mall in Illinois – Drury Lane Theatre & Event Center – Various office towers within the 22nd Street Corridor between IL 83 and Spring Road – Eldridge Park (SW Elmhurst) I welcome feedback on any of this project. Anakena beach (Easter Island) with Moai statues v1.0
Anakena beach is the only sand beach on the Easter Island with some coconut palm trees, which were planted in the 20th century. It is also the location of two ceremonial sites with Moai statues, called Ahu Nau Nau and Ahu Ature Huki. No google maps or other photogrammetry just the stock bing maps in game. – just unzip the file and copy the folder “tl1980-anakenabeach-tl1980-scenery-anakena-chile” to the community folder features: Doing some terraforming Replacing the standard trees with palm trees Adding buildings at the entrance Placing the statues in the right spot (custom models with LODs) issues: bing maps in game is quite green tinted, especially the roads are green. Boeing 787 Manchester United v1.0
This a MANCHESTER UNITED livery for the Boeing 787. The livery has statues of “The Holy Trinity” (Charlton,Best & Law) and Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson. The roof of the plane has all the sponsors of United (as of 20/21 season) nd the tail has the famous “Red Devil” Insignia. I saw lot of people making liveries of various clubs so, i thought of going ahead and making a livery for arguably the biggest club in the world. Maltese Islands – Scenery Enhancement v0.2
I have started working on the Maltese Islands to improve the basic scenery overall. I am very new to the SDK and this is a work in progress. Soon I will also start on a visual improvement on Luqa Airport also. My free time is limited therefore updates may take some time. For now as a start I have added – ‘Filfla’ which is a landmark and was missing from the game and – a placeholder for ‘Fungus Rock’ Let me know in the comments if you have any feedback. My next improvement planned is the Freeport area. I will only be using SDK included models and no external ones or Gmaps photogrammetry imports, but will try my best to make it look authenthic.
