Uppsala v1.0
Uppsala This is a Google Maps enhancement for Uppsala. Its currently missing some of the key landmarks like the cathedral and the castle. Having lived in Uppsala i figured i try to do my best to create a better representation with the help of Google maps. I added some point of interest indicators and some lights to better light the cathedral. Its a bit clunky with the overlay, the terraforming part works but it gives a odd falloff, e.g. its very visible where the enhancement ends. I don’t really know how to fix that without having to go into Blender and do a lot more adjustments. If anyone has suggestions id be happy to take them into account. Castell Dolbadarn, Cymru / Dolbadarn Castle, Wales v1.0
Castell Dolbadarn is a 13th century castle in Llanberis, Wales. It was built in the 1220s or 1230s by Llywelyn ab Iorwerth, also known as Llywelyn Fawr (Llywelyn the Great), the Prince of Gwynedd, to guard the Llanberis Pass. Llywelyn’s grandson, Llywelyn ap Gruffydd took power in 1246 following the death of his uncle, Dafydd ap Llywelyn. A dispute with his older brother, Owain, and younger brother Dafydd led to the Battle of Bryn Derwin in 1255. Llywelyn was successful in the battle, captured Owain, and subsequently imprisoned him in the tower at Dolbadarn Castle for over 20 years. In 1282, Llywelyn’s brother, Dafydd, kickstarted the last war of Welsh independence against King Edward I by attacking Hawarden Castle. Llywelyn was killed in December 1282, and Dafydd succeeded him as Prince of Wales. Dafydd based his administration from Dolbadarn Castle, but by this time he was hunted by the English. He was eventually captured in June 1283 and taken to Shrewsbury. He became the first person to be convicted of high treason against the King of England, and the first prominent person to be hung, drawn and quartered. Dolbadarn was used as a manor house into the 14th century, but was uninhabited and in ruins by the 18th century. It became a popular destination for painters, most notably, J. M. W. Turner, who painted the castle in 1800. The castle is now in the care of CADW, the Welsh government agency responsible for the maintenance of historical buildings across the country. This mod replaces the auto-generated scenery, which just consists of a strange, small round house, with a 3D model of the castle. As a bonus, I have also thinned out some of the trees on Llyn Padarn and added in the famous Lone Tree. Snowdonia Deforestation v1.0
While the scenery in Microsoft Flight Simulator is exceptionally good, one thing it has a habit of doing is planting trees where there should be none. This is evident in Snowdonia, Wales, where most of the mountains are bare, but Flight Simulator covers them in trees, especially in areas which are in shadow. This mod removes most of the trees from the mountains to make the scenery look a lot closer to the real thing. Hey, this is scenery for Eilat City. The main Eilat landmark buildings such as Hilton, King Solomon, Imax are converted form X-Plane 11 scenery by omer1234. Thanks for him to allow me to share that scenery. This scenery includes main hotels near waterfront, the Lagoona, IMAX, the underwater restaurant and the Port of Eilat. Enjoy! Tacloban Airport – RPVA v1.0
Tacloban Airport also known as Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport mainly serves the city of Tacloban in Leyte, Philippines. This airport was expanded after typhoon Yolanda hit and has a new terminal that will be built to expand it’s capacity. I did my best to replicate the shape and structure of the terminal to match its real life counterpart however some Inaccuracies may exist.
