Points of Interest / Points d’intérêt – France Edition v0.1
– Phase Alpha / Alpha Stage – This mod adds points of interest in France. I took some inspiration using this Wikipedia link, as well as this page which lists the most beautiful French villages. I also added some famous landmarks. I don’t have a lot of free time, and I add points of interest as I go. Please be patient! P.S.: This mod only adds points of interest and should be compatible with any scenery you have. If you want to thank me and are a much better modder than I am, please consider making LFDK and/or CYFC. Installation: Drag and drop the extracted folder into your “Community” folder. ZGDY Zhangjiajie Hehua Int. Airport v1
Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport is a medium size international airport that is 5km away from the city of Zhangjiajie, China. The airport and entire city is missing in the base game so I recreated the airport and a very basic version of the city. The airport has a single runway 08/26 that is 2600x45m long and it would normally see flights from many routes within the country and some routes to South Korea and seasonal routes to other countries. Air traffic control does work but I can not get ILS to work right now. Panama Airstrip Pack v1.0
It could be regarded as a “by-product” of Tocumen Intl. Airport. I’ve had a look at the list of published aerodromes in Panama AIP, there are more than 10 of them is missing in the game. The runway for most of them are already present on the ground, but not being recognized as a runway in the game. Finally I made 9 of them, and put them into this pack. They are: Finca Fatima Wannukand Sambu Pina Ogobsucum Mulatupo Las Moras Ingenio Ofelina Franfer The names for some of them is duplicated with those built-in ones, but I’m sure they are not at the same position. There are no published ICAO codes for them, so I just assigned fake ones from MP30 to MP39. None of them is challenging to approach, so no need to be worry about your flying skills. Tocumen International Airport (MPTO) v1.0
Yet another airport being made on request, but this is the biggest airport project by me in this moment. It is an important and busy hub for flights among Central America. You need to have USA Update to be installed as a prerequisite. Limitations: There is no published instrument procedure for taking off from 21L/21R, and I don’t know what it would be in real case There is no published STAR paths towards “TUM” VOR, so the instrument approaches that utilise it are not implemented, and then the VOR approach for 21L is not implemented, even when there is no other published instrument approach for it Although there are RNAV(RNP) procedures for departures and approaches(3R/21R), I’ve only implemented RNAV(GNSS) procedures for them as the support for RNAV approaches in the game is still quite buggy, and there have been alternate instrument procedures. There has been an autogen terminal building in the game, and I just use it directly. However, the autogen terminal building doesn’t fit the actual gate positions very well, the position of the gates have been adjusted, and some of them has been skipped. Only a few of the gate numbers for Terminal 2 are documented, so the others are just by guess. Taxiway signs are not being made, so just turn on taxi ribbons in case you need. Known Issues: ATC will only assign visual approaches, even if you have selected STAR and instrument approaches in flight planner, and you will be asked to report runway in sight during approach. ATC may ask to to land on the other runway during approach ATC don’t know which taxiways should be assigned for leaving some of the gates to the runway, and just tell you to taxi using taxiway. The only ILS localizer (3R) can be considered accurate, but aircrafts failed to align with the runway precisely using autopilot. Althought I think making an international airport with handcrafted terminals and a lot of details is the business of those payware developers, collaborations are welcomed if you would like to do so. Hello, this is my first attempt at a mod, I have created EGIN in Aberdeenshire which is still WIP, I still need to add the hangers etc. I have re-done the runway textures, windsock, and added another plane so it looks similar to real life.
