Microsoft Flight Simulator vegetation enhancement for New Zealand. What’s been done? LOD has been adjusted also, to strike a balance between low and slow and high flying. Materials have been matched to real trees in terms of visual representation. This means the shape, colour, and height have been modified for all species used in the following Biomes: Northland temperate kauri forests. North Island temperate forests. Southland temperate forests. Nelson Coast temperate forests. Richmond temperate forests. Fiordland temperate forests. Westland temperate forests. Canterbury-Otago tussock grasslands. Rakiura Island temperate forests. Chatham Island temperate forests. Kermadec Islands subtropical moist forests. New Zealand South Island montane grasslands. Limitations: Due to the lack of functionality on where to put tall vs short trees you may find some taller trees where they shouldn’t be but they are based on real heights so this can’t be helped until new functionality arrives. Due to limited materials some trees may not look exactly as in the real world but should look close enough for a better experience until more functionality comes along. There will obviously be some work to do but this is a huge step in making New Zealand great again in the sim Installation: just copy to your community folder. A320 Manta Classic v1.0
Presenting the A320neo depicted in a 1950s version of the fictional Manta livery of YouTuber 320 Sim Pilot. 320 Sim Pilot has been kind enough to use some of my liveries on recent streams and this was my way of showing some appreciation for him and the fantastic work that he does with his A320 tutorials and streams in helping myself and others get to grips with the airliner. Also, thanks to his discord which is full of lovely people who have been very encouraging as well as offering plenty of great suggestions for classic liveries to recreate. History This look made its debut when Manta took delivery of its first Airbus A320neo on April 9th, 1952. At the time, 320 Sim Pilot was offering tutorial demonstrations of airline operations in town squares around the world using a Link Trainer that was enhanced with the FlyByWire A32NX mod version 0.0.0.0.0.01 and later version 0.0.0.0.0.02 which included the printer. G-SIMX, which I have depicted here, would receive numerous updates and overhauls over the years, having its aluminium construction replaced with composite materials, and even being completely converted to an A321 in 2020. EHGG – Groningen Airport Eelde Improvement Well the default Groningen Airport wasn’t really realistic, so I tried to improved this a bit (was a bit more work than I excpected). It still isn’t perfect/finished, but this v1 is a start. I try to fix the list below as soon as possible, but with a full time job time is a bit sparse. Runway: asphalt 05 / 23 Length: 2.500 M / 8.202 ft Things that are better: – A few handmade buildings (still trying to improve the textures). – Highly detailted NNAC building, made by Twvs05. – Added the tower (ATC works the same as in the default version). – Improved the ground layout and objects on the ground (all ground services work). – Changed the default active runway to taxiway and added correct taxinames. – Added solar panel fields. Things that still need improvement or are missing (working on it when i have time): – Taxiway lighting & appron lighting. – Taxiway & runway signs, still the default ones. – Still a few hangars are default. – Surrounding area buildings. – Carparking area in front of the terminial (for some reason i can’t delete the default cars, let me know if someone knows how to fix this) Just unzip the file, drop it in your community folder and you should be good to go.
