Churfirsten (Mountain Range) Switzerland v1.0
Churfirsten (Mountain Range) are seven Mountain Peaks between Walensee (Lake) and the Valley of Toggenburg in Canton St. Gallen (Switzerland). The highest Peak has an Elevation of 2,306m (7,566 ft). The southern front is very steep and on the eastern end there is a canyon very popular for Base Jumper (seen in the Movie Point Break II). The northern back of the Mountains is a pretty Skiing Area. The next Airports are Flugplatz Mollis LSZM (Swiss Airforce), and Flugplatz Bad Ragaz LSZE. The Highway in the Valley between Bad Ragaz and the Churfirsten once was used from Swiss Military as a Backup runway. Good luck when you try to land there! File: The Scenery is a mix of two seasons. The Google Data are shot in Winter, the MSFS Data look like Summer. Credits: This scenery has been extracted from Google Maps, hence all 3D credits goes to Google. DA62 4X-CXR v1.0
Repaint of the DA62 in the unique white and blue livery of 4X-CXR of Israel based FN Aviation. Although similar to livery packs available from Diamond, the white and blue livery of 4X-CXR appears to be a one off paint scheme. REPAINT DETAILS Matches the real aircraft colour and livery as close as possible. Exterior textures in 4k. Custom prop blur textures with reduced strobing compared to the MSFS standard aircraft. Correct registration appears on the glare shield of both aircraft. White prop spinners. Compatible with both the standard MSFS DA62 and the DA62X mod. I recommend the DA62X mod. Registration in custom font type/colour with ATC contact using the correct registration abbreviation, OR Option to use own registration in default black font. Khartoum HSSS (IATA: KRT, ICAO: HSSS) is the principal airport in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Khartoum airport is situated in the heart of the capital and serving as the country’s main gateway to world. The current facility will be replaced with a new airport 40 kilometers south of the centre of Khartoum. This is planned to have two 4000 metre runways, a passenger terminal of 86,000 square metres and a 300-room international hotel. Construction is to be carried out by China Harbour Engineering Co. (CHEC). I’ve tried to bring some life to the airport and added lights for the airport buildings, apron, and all facility buildings blast fences some shuttle buses, pushback units, etc. a generic tower (position according to Jeppesen charts) VOR KTM south of the airport Should work with the standard edition, only default assets in use, but make sure you have all world updates installed, just in case … I didn’t touch any atc & navigational frequencies/procedures, if these won’t work for you, it is a bug in the sim. If you find any design flaws, let me know and send a screenshot. Otherwise – take it as it is, hope it works for you too, have fun! EDDL enhancement V0.2
As a total newbie this is my first attempt to design a scenery in MSFS. It is just an overlay for the existing EDDL scenery. It is rather meant for the online fliers among us to find the right parking position. Only the apron was modified with the appropriate markings. The whole thing was built with the standard options of the SDK. The apron markings were added. A few floodlights were put up (at the moment at East Apron), from stock, nothing realisitc. Taxiway signs were added. The altitude data was adjusted (at the moment only flatten). I used aerial photos and youtube videos as the database. To-Dos: The west apron is not finished yet (the aerial photos available to me are probably not up to date enough), as well as the GA area. As soon as I learned how to create custom lines, the west apron will be developed. As I said, this scenery is only an adjustment to be able to orientate on the airport taxi-wise. If you want more reality, there are now 2 payware sceneries that really represent the airport realistically.
