This livery is also available for the default A320. Presenting the A320neo in the colours of American Airlines in the 1950s. This livery in general captures the look of American Airlines aircraft essentially from the company’s inception until the early days of jet airliners, which featured bare metal accented with an orange lightning bolt. This livery in particular captures the look sported by American Airlines DC-6’s in the 1950s and 60s and sports the name “Flagship Maryland” which appeared on the real life aircraft N90717 and served American Airlines from May 1944 until November 1966. Kushinagar Intl. Airport (VEKI) v1.0
Kushinagar Airport has undergone an upgrade into an international airport. The new 3200m long runway and a new apron could accommodate large single-aisle jetliners like 737-900 or A321. The airport is wrongly recognized as Ramkola Airport (VARL), but it seems that it can’t be modified. Although pushback tug is available on the apron, the parkings are designed as taxi-in taxi-out. In this moment there is no published instrument procedures for this airport, so it is VFR only. This livery is also available for the default A320. Presenting the livery as used by EI-DVM “ST Colman” to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Aer Lingus. In real life, Aer Lingus took posession of the Airbus A320-214 in 2011 and chose to commemorate 75 years of service by painting the plane in the livery used by the airline during the 1960s. Presenting the A320 in the colours of JMC Air, the British charter airline which operated from March 2000 until being rebranded under the Thomas Cook Airlines umbrella in March 2003. Alongside A320-200s, JMC operated A330s, Boeing 757s and McDonnell Douglas DC-10s during its shorts stint. This livery is also available for the default A320. Presenting the A320neo depicted in a 1950s version of the fictional Manta livery of YouTuber 320 Sim Pilot. 320 Sim Pilot has been kind enough to use some of my liveries on recent streams and this was my way of showing some appreciation for him and the fantastic work that he does with his A320 tutorials and streams in helping myself and others get to grips with the airliner. Also, thanks to his discord which is full of lovely people who have been very encouraging as well as offering plenty of great suggestions for classic liveries to recreate. Make sure also to check out ac455’s 1985 Manta Livery in order to have a complete Manta hangar (at least until the main livery finally gets completed). History This look made its debut when Manta took delivery of its first Airbus A320neo on April 9th, 1952. At the time, 320 Sim Pilot was offering tutorial demonstrations of airline operations in town squares around the world using a Link Trainer that was enhanced with the FlyByWire A32NX mod version 0.0.0.0.0.01 and later version 0.0.0.0.0.02 which included the printer. G-SIMX, which I have depicted here, would receive numerous updates and overhauls over the years, having its aluminium construction replaced with composite materials, and even being completely converted to an A321 in 2020.
