This is a graphic-enhancing scenery of “Wakayama City” in the western part of the Kii Peninsula, Japan. LOD is 15-18 in the whole area and 15-19 only around Marina City. It is a city that can be reached within minutes from Kansai International Airport.
A city located in the northern part of Wakayama prefecture. It is the prefectural capital of Wakayama Prefecture and is designated as a core city. Typical sights include “Wakayama Castle,” “Wakayama Marina City,” and “Porto Europe.” In the Middle Ages, it was called “Saika no Sato” along with a part of Kainan City. [1] During the Edo period, it prospered as a castle town of the Kishu clan under the control of the Kishu Tokugawa family.
