Spitfire Mk.1A 603 Squadron XT-M v1.0

This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1A by Aeroplane Heaven. It shows Spitfire Mk.1a X4277 XT-M as flown by Flying Officer Richard Hillary of 603 Squadron, based in Hornchurch, August 1940. He shot down 5 German aircraft, but in turn was shot down by Hauptmann Bode of JG26 on 3 September 1940. Wounded, he wrote ‘the Last Enemy’while covalescing. He died when he was shot down flying a Blenheim in January 1943. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aeroplane Heaven.
