Due to its close location to Antarctica SFAL has international flights, and serve routes to Rothera Research Station and UK bases in Antarctica, aswell as regional routes in the region. If the weather is closing in on you during your flight to Port Stanley, You might chewse to make an Instrument landing at RAf Mount Pleasent Airbase close to SFAL.
