Rip Van Winkle Bridge, NY, USA v1.0

The Rip Van Winkle Bridge is named after the story by Washington Irving published in 1819. The story mentions the two towns it connects: Hudson, NY and Catskill, NY. It’s 104 miles north of New York City. This mile-long bridge is a combination Deck-truss and double-cantilever design common in long low river crossings.
You might also want to check out my Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse right here, another Hudson River landmark named after the rich literary world set around the Hudson River.
This bridge is another in my over 40 NYC Bridges collection. All of my bridges are very framerate-friendly.
