North Wales Marinas
A bit of an experimental side project to complement my North Wals POIs. The marinas around the coast need improving – the map photo half-sunken boats are a bit off-putting. I’ve knocked up a selection of boats – not too detailed to save on polys – and combined them to create more realistic marina/harbour areas. They look fine when flying and even at 200ft I think they stand up. Tidied up some buildings and added some night lighting.
First areas covered : Conwy marina Conwy quay Deganwy marina Bangor marina
Until Asobo and/or Seafront Simulations sort out Wales I am happy to continue. Comments and suggestions are welcome but remember this will always be a compromise between detail and effort/time needed to create something you fly over.
