Repaint of payware PMDG DC6.
Hurricane Hunter of the past. This DC-6A with c/n 45227 was originally delivered to Trans Caribbean in late 1957, and purchased by the US Dept. of Commerce in 1960. Was used by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration NOAA as a flying research laboratory. Was sold 1975 to Bellomy-Lawson and modified back to normal configuration. Painted in Challenge Air Transport colours in 1979 and re-registered N98BL in 1983. Broken up at MIA in 1993 after a couple of years in storage
