Ever wanted to fly to Hawaii from the mainland United States but realized your favorite plane just simply cannot make that journey? Today I bring you MID9 (Middle Ocean Airport), a dual runway airport almost exactly halfway between KLAX and PHTO. MID9 sits about 1,280 miles (1100nm) between the LAX and HTO giving a great stopping point for your mid-range business jet or turboprop. Come enjoy some food and maybe a night’s rest at our on-site hotel. Fuel up your plane with our dedicated fuel farm! Want to stop here and hop on a cruise? We have a cruise terminal off the northern end of the island waiting to take you on the trip of a lifetime.
