Lockheed P-38 “Gentle Annie” 20th FG v1.0

This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed P-38L Lightning by Flying Iron. It shows P-38J-10-LO 42-68166 ‘Gentle Annie’, piloted by Col. Harold Rau, CO of the 20th FG, 8th AF, based in Kingscliffe, UK. Col Rau commanded the 20th FG between March 1944 and December 1944. Before that, he was the CO of the 356th FG. He flew 275 combat hours, scored one air kill, a Bf.109 and 4 ground kills. While in England, he adopted a labrador, which he called Honey, and which he took home with him to the US. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the textures by Flying Iron.
