JutphaseBrug v1.0
The Jutphase Bridge (or Jutfasebrug) is a bridge that connects the city of Utrecht and Nieuwegein. It spans the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. Right next to the bridge is a railway bridge for the Utrecht light rail; the Jutphase railway bridge. In 1984 the steel driving deck was replaced by a concrete driving deck. On one side, the concrete deck of the footpath has been replaced by a 3 meter wide steel orthotropic deck for both pedestrians and cyclists. In 2014 – 2015, the bridge was again renovated and raised as part of the KARGO project. For this, the bridge had been moved aside and an auxiliary bridge was temporarily used
