Invercargill Airport Scenery Enhancement
V1.0: Invercargill is a town located at the southern tip of New Zealand’s South Island. It serves as Air New Zealand’s southern most destination with flights from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch using Q300’s, ATR72’s and the A320 family. – Correct Taxiways added – Re-done Aprons – Ground services now available at parking (except fuel truck) – Runways re-done – ATC tower added – Some surrounding fences added
Installation method: – Drag and drop invercargill-nznv folder to your microsoft flight simulator community folder
What’s coming next (update 1.1): – Fix for small hill created by runway 04/22 – More gates for small aircraft as seen on real airport – Adding fuel truck service – Work on surrounding areas eg farms, roads and carpark outside terminal – Removing asphalt area around taxiway A – Possible custom textures
Note: This is my first scenery project so there may be some issues which I was not aware of when creating. I also have never been to Invercargill, so this was made off references from the limited photos available and Google Earth (not google maps import). Please feel free to comment any issues you have or features you’d like to be added or fixed.
