Fragtflug Iceland DC-6B TF-OAA | 1970 v1.0

Repaint of payware PMDG DC6.
Constructed as a DC-6B with c/n 45060. After flying for Western as N93117 and Japan Air Lines as JA6207 this DC-6 moved to Iceland in 1969 as TF-FRA and was flown in the Biafran Airlift on behalf of IRCR/UNICEF by Fragtflug, like sister ship TF-OAB. Later in 1969, when airlift to Uli airstrip becomes more and more dangerous, it was reregistered to TF-OAA, wearing famous olive green/grey paint scheme with UNICEF stickers. After returning from Africa, TF-OAA was used by Fragtflug on European cargo flights until 1972. TF-OAA ended her days with Iscargo being wthdrawn from use in 1977 and sadly scrapped 1983 in Reykjavik.
