This category is for the Third Party Aircraft ATR 72-600. Liveries in this category will require the plane to work. After studying the texture mapping of the FS2020 freeware adaptation of the ex-Virtualcol ATR72, it’s just impossible to get rid of the windows but there are still many people would like to have it, so I decided to give this somehow fictional thing a go.
Note that there maybe a folder named something like “atr72-600_CVT_” generated inside the Community Mods Folder after installing the ATR72 and started the game for the first time. In case for any updates with this aircraft, delete the mentioned folder to make sure the changes to be applied. For making the ATR72 really appear in AI traffic and report the aircraft model correctly during conversation with ATC, replace the part the aircraft.cfg of the ATR72 (default path is “ATR72-600\SimObjects\AIRPLANES\atr725”, NOT the aircraft.cfg of the livery) to the following: atc_type = “TT:ATCCOM.ATC_NAME ATR.0.text” atc_model = “TT:ATCCOM.AC_MODEL ATR72.0.text” editable = 1 ; performance = ; category = airplane ; icao_type_designator = “AT72” icao_manufacturer = “ATR” icao_model = “ATR-72” icao_engine_type = “Turboprop/Turboshaft” icao_engine_count = 2 icao_WTC = “L” icao_generic = 1
