BlackBox Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander – G-BEDZ – “Captain Eric A. Starling” V1.1
Since no Loganair livery comes standard with BlackBox’s great BN-2 Islander I thought it high time to rectify that obvious oversight
I chose the old livery and picked out the G-BEDZ which was named after Scottish aviation pioneer Eric A. Starling. In addition to the livery I also gave it a black and red interior and a less worn instrument panel. Unfortunately G-BEDZ – built in 1974 – crashed at Tingwall Airport in 1996, killing the pilot. The two passengers suvived.
