Ansett Australia was an airline that operated as part of the Australian Governments “Two Airline” policy for decades.
However after changing ownership and a series of investment blunders and lack of leadership, the airline could not continue to be viable and in the post September 2001 aviation world, a once proud Australian Icon collapsed and was assigned to history.
The last airframe operated by the airline was the Airbus A320, and this livery presents a What Might Have Been should the airline been able to continue and still tread the skies to this day.
