Presenting the Bombardier CRJ-700 in the “Blue Tulip” colours of United Express. United used the “Blue Tulip design from 2004 until United’s merger with Continental in 2010. The merger not only resulted in a new livery, but it also ended the reign of the Saul Bass designed “tulip” logo which had been in use since 1973.
