Webjet Linhas Aéreas was a Brazilian airline that operated under the low cost low fare concept (low cost, low fare airline). Its headquarters were located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It started its air operations in July 2005.
It ceased to operate on November 23, 2012, after CADE’s acceptance of the purchase made by Gol Linhas Aéreas, with 850 employees being fired in the months following the conclusion of the merger with the airline Gol Linhas Aéreas.
