Webjet Linhas Aéreas was a Brazilian airline operating under the low cost low fare concept. Its headquarters were located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It began its air operations in July 2005.
It ceased to operate on November 23, 2012, after CADE’s acceptance of the purchase made by Gol Linhas Aéreas, with the result that 850 employees were laid off in the months following the completion of the merger with the airline Gol Linhas Aéreas.
