Alakanuk Airstrip (PAUK)
Alakanuk Airstrip (PAUK) is situated in the small village of Alakanuk, Alaska, along the Yukon River. This modern airport, opened in 2012, features a longer and wider gravel runway, enhancing its capacity to facilitate larger aircraft and improve fuel and freight deliveries. Located near the Bering Sea and within the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge, the airstrip plays a vital role in connecting the community to essential supplies and markets. The add-on also corrects duplicate airport entries in the simulation to ensure accurate representation.
