Consolidated B-24 Liberator RAF Coastal Command SEAC BZ862/J
This add-on features a detailed repaint of the Consolidated B-24 Liberator, specifically representing the RAF Coastal Command aircraft BZ862/J. Originally arriving in the UK in 1943 and flown by 354 Sqn before transitioning to 160 Sqn, this aircraft conducted significant long-distance mine-laying operations in the region. Notably, it achieved the longest unrefueled flight by an Allied landplane during World War II, covering 3,735 miles. The repaint was created by Jan Kees Blom, utilizing the official paintkit from Flight Replicas.
