MUCC - Jardines del Rey Airport

Jardines del Rey Airport (MUCC) is located on Cayo Coco in Cubas Ciego de Ávila province and serves as a primary gateway for tourists to the Jardines del Rey archipelago. Opened in December 2002, it replaced the longer journey to Máximo Gómez Airport, facilitating easier access for visitors. The airport is notable for being jointly operated by foreign and local entities, with Aena and ECASA overseeing its management. Annually, it accommodates over 200,000 passengers, primarily from Canada.
