Douglas DC-3 - Lóide Aéreo

Even though the backbone of Loide Aereo was formed by C-46, the airline used few DC-3s as reserve in some cases, while most was lended to Linhas Aereas Paulistas. The PP-LPG was being handled to Lloyd Aereo Boliviano when it crashed in 12th july 1951, same day its register was approved for Lóide with the loss of all 33 lives onboard. Apparently after a missed approach in the Aracaju Airport it crashed into the Salt River, being one of the biggest air tragedis of its time.
