Embraer EMB 121 - Copersucar Fittipaldi Formula 1

Embraer EMB 121 - Copersucar Fittipaldi Formula 1

EMB-121´s first prototype was lended to the Copersucar-Fittipaldi Formula 1 team in order to promote this new aircraft in the team´s flights in Europe and North America, and so it became the first brazilian produced aircraft to cross the Atlantic, alongside a EMB-110 Bandeirante in 26th May 1977, taking off from the factory in Sao Jose dos Campos to Paris with stops in Noronha, Dakar and Seville. The EMB-121 not only shortened the flight time by 19 minutes compared to the EMB-110, but flying higher also made a more pleasant flight. The aircraft was put in display during Formula 1 races and airshows, and it´s distinct livery was a nice marketing feature for showcasing the new aircraft that would be an important and great commercial step for Embraer. This is a very initial release since there´s no paintkit available for this model yet.
