ADK7 - Bradley Pond Airstrip
Bradley Pond airstrip (ADK7) offers another unique opportunity to stop in the Adirondack Mountains of New York with a fictional airstrip placed in a unique location. This airstrip is located to the West of Elk Lake airstrip with a very short flight. A southern approach brings you in low and level with the runway for landing; while the northern approach is a curved approach bringing you flying in with a high approach. Near the runway the ground drops allowing for a nice smooth landing or the unexpected go-around in most of my attempts from the north. Look for the beacon to guide you into the airstrip. If you are really good at a water landing, there is a pond but not ideal for landing an amphibious aircraft.
