ADK5 - Pokomoonshine Mountain Fuel and Campout airstrip

ADK5 is a fictional airstrip located in Essex County, New York on the north side of Pokomoonshine Mountain.  Pokomoonshine Mt. is a popular hiking trail during all months of the year.  The eastern face of the mountain is also a popular rock climbing destination during summer and ice climbing during winter.  Butternut pond below is closed to the public and is a private pond near Interstate 87.  This airstrip was created for me in mind as I love flying smaller airstrips in and out of the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
