Welcome to Childs Glacier Airstrip! This airstrip is an old uncharted airstrip in the Copper River/Lost Coast region of Alaska. The airstrip is a approx. 1750 feet gravel/grass runway, which co-exists/shares its runway with the now inaccessible Copper River Highway, once linking Cordova to the old mining town of Kennicott in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.
